Innovation Institute CEO Appointed on the ISO International Innovation Committee

1e3cac97-d4b1-46e9-a020-76d27a21aec8.jpg   Prof Sa’ad Sam Medhat IKE Institute’s CEO has been elected on the International Standards Organisations (ISO) to support the development of a new set of Standards for Innovation.

said Prof Sa’ad Medhat.
 

The TC 279 Committee proposed a series of 6 Standards to act as Guidelines for Innovation Management. These standards are:

 
1. Fundamentals and Vocabulary ISO 50500
2. Innovation Management System – Guidance ISO 50501
3. Innovation Management Assessment - Guidance ISO 50502
4. Innovation Management Tools and Methods -Guidance ISO 50503
5. Innovation Management Strategic Intelligence Management - Guidance ISO 50504
6. Innovation Management, Intellectual Property Management ISO 50505
 

The first of these Standards (ISO 50503) has been written up and is at the Committee Approvals stage. Publication of this first Standard is expected later this year.

 

The IKE Institute’s Investor in Innovations Standard takes into consideration the TC279 standards and provides an integrated and coherent platform for preparing an organisation to meet the ISO compliancy requirements.

In addition, the IKE Institute’s Certified Innovation courses continue offer a rich source for professional development in the innovation discipline to equip the individual practitioners and business leaders to purse their initiatives and future innovation assessments with confidence.
